Welcome to Pioneer Healthcare PLLC (“Pioneer Healthcare,” “the Practice,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using our website or accessing our virtual telehealth services.
By using our website, booking an appointment, or interacting with our telehealth services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use our services.
1. Scope of Services & Telehealth
Pioneer Healthcare PLLC is a digital healthcare practice providing medical services exclusively through telehealth to patients located within New York.
- Technology Requirements: To participate in our telehealth services, you must have access to a secure, stable internet connection, a compatible camera, and a microphone.
- Clinical Discretion: Our clinical providers reserve the right to determine whether virtual care is medically appropriate for your specific condition. If we determine that you require an in-person physical exam, diagnostic testing, or specialized intervention, we will guide you on the necessary next steps and refer you to in-person providers.
2. Not for Emergencies
PIONEER HEALTHCARE PLLC IS NOT AN EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE. IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A LIFE-THREATENING MEDICAL EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY OR GO TO THE NEAREST EMERGENCY ROOM.
3. Patient Responsibilities & Requirements
By registering with or booking a visit with Pioneer Healthcare, you agree that:
- You are physically located in the State of New York at the time of your telehealth consultation.
- The personal, contact, and medical information you provide to us is true, accurate, and complete.
- You will not record (audio or video) any telehealth consultation without the explicit written consent of the medical provider.
- You will treat our providers and staff with respect. We reserve the right to terminate services or restrict access to patients who exhibit abusive, dishonest, or threatening behavior.
4. Billing, Self-Pay, and Financial Policies
- Self-Pay Practice: Pioneer Healthcare PLLC operates primarily on a transparent, upfront self-pay pricing model. Payment is due in full at the time of booking or service.
- Prior Authorizations: Prior authorization services are available to assist eligible patients with insurance requirements for certain medications, treatments, or healthcare services. Prior authorization approval is determined solely by your insurance provider and cannot be guaranteed.
- Refund & Cancellation Policy: Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled in accordance with our designated cancellation window (e.g., 24 hours prior to the visit). Failure to cancel or appear for a scheduled visit may result in a forfeit of fees.
5. Prescriptions and Refills
All prescriptions and medication refills are provided at the sole discretion of our clinical providers. Providers act strictly in accordance with clinical guidelines, safety protocols, medical history, and required laboratory monitoring. We do not guarantee that any specific medication will be prescribed, and we do not prescribe controlled substances via telehealth.
